a big stanley kubrick exhibition is coming to london

Somerset House held a big Stanley Kubrick exhibition back in 2016 but it seems we can’t get enough of the legendary director as another one is coming to town next year. The Design Museum will host Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition, which has been touring the world, from April next year and it’s gonna be jam-packed with archive pieces, original props and costumes, rare photographs, and some objects that have never been on display in the UK before.

You’ll be able to relive iconic scenes from the likes of A Clockwork Orange, The Shining and Eyes Wide Shut, and the exhibition will also explore Kubrick’s fascination with design and his relationship with England as a filming location – the Vietnam battlefields for Full Metal Jacket, the orbiting space station for 2001: A Space Odyssey and the War Room in Dr Strangelove were all created here.

In the meantime, these are the exhibitions you should check out right now.
