HEATTECH, developed in partnership with world class textile manufacturer Toray, went through a whopping 10,000 samples before their final cutting edge material was created. A fabric which allows body heat to be stored in pockets of air within the fabric – this is what keeps you warm and toasty.

UNIQLO are taking their HEATTECH products and collaborating with some interesting Londoners whose work takes them outdoors on a daily basis. These ambassadors are a mixed bunch, everyone from cyclists to pizza makers who benefit in different ways whilst facing the elements and physicalities of their job, showing it’s tailored not just towards sportswear but general day-to-day living.

You’ve got Pizza Pilgrims, Graffiti Life, The Pothole Gardener and Fixed Gear London all taking part in a series of events where you could bag some vouchers for a free item of HEATTECH. The guys from Pizza Pilgrim are creating a special HEATTECH Pizza to be shared along with vouchers. All pizzas will not be free, but they will be giving out loads of free samples with the vouchers!

The Graffiti Life team will be painting a bespoke HEATTECH mural and giving out vouchers. Come on down and watch them in action!

THURSDAY 13th 2014
Steve Wheen, pothole gardner, will be planning a special set of HeatTech inspired seasonal gardens near the High St Kensington Store. This will be the first garden he plants as part of his “Water My Garden,” a fundraising project whereby people can water The Pothole Gardeners gardens, by donating money online to WaterAid. By supporting the project, people be spreading the happiness by encouraging more little gardens to pop up around London, while at the same time helping people who need access to fresh water and sanitation.

FRIDAY Nov 14th 2014
London Fixed Gear will be hosting a Rollapaluza! Although not experiencing the true experience of cycling outdoors, Rollapaluza is a unique cycle sport. Two participants battle it out on a pair of custom-built rollers connected to a huge dial, with split-second-digital timing over a simulated 500m distance at speeds in excess of 50mph! Accompanied by music, MC and cheering crowds.
