and the witch have given us 8 minutes of pure joy in the latest track ‘Blood Teachings’, taken from their upcoming album ‘A New Nature’. It is indeed a new nature (lolz) of music, beginning with haunting PJ Harveyesque vocals delivered over drifting dark instrumentation building into a chaotic stampede of noise that engulf screaming vocals.

It’s a good thing that it’s a substantial eight minutes of post-rock perfection too as the album isn’t out till September. Boo-urns. Keep an eye out for them if you’re in Hackey’s Oslo on the 4th of September too as they’re going to be on the stage there that evening.
