to tail beef cook-off, for one-night only…If you have ever queued up to taste the finger-licking pork dishes at Pitt Cue Co, then this Sunday you will certainly be in for a treat.For one night only, the restaurant will be serving up a range of beef dishes sourced from a pair of mature Highland cows. If you consider that one mature Highland cow weighs in at around 1100lbs, then with two you are guaranteed to have have a whole lot of meat.
To make the most of each cut, expect a variety of dishes. Starters will include beef scrumpet (£5), beef and bone-marrow pasties (£6) 300g sirloin steak (£18.50) and rib of beef (prices to be announced on the night). With only 28 covers in the restaurant and ran on a first come, first served basis from 6pm, we suggested getting in line pronto!
