If
you‘re a fan of the Brian Jonestown Massacre you could do a lot worse than hitting up Birthdays in Dalston tomorrow night for Temple Songs, who also cut a nice line in 60s indebted psychedelia, just with better tuned guitars, and hopefully a frontman without the same psychotic tendencies as Anton Newcombe.The particularly insta-happy ensamble are joined on the bill by the completely un-google-able Parlour and Whistlejacket, who we’re hoping are an a capella tribute to Bromhead’s Jacket, but almost certainly aren’t.
