frontman Tom Meighan is set to join new band Penguinrising for two one-off gigs next month.

Penguinrising were formed by ex Oasis drummer Zak Starkey and although there’s little recorded material out there, promising live-footage has already begun emerging online. Meighan who is currently assembling Kasabian’s fifth album will front the band for their appearances at The Queen Of Hoxton (12th) and Manchester’s FAC251 (19th) and DJ both nights.
