Souk el Salam, a peace market designed to raise money for aid to Gaza, is coming back to London this June. Some of the UK’s top chefs and food writers will be pitching up at St James’s Piccadilly to help raise money, including Sami Tamimi, Noor Murad, Phil Khoury, Melissa Thompson, Philip Juma, Thomas Hunt, Jad Youssef, and Nicole Pisani, with products from Zaytoon, Shorkk, Akub and Fil also available to buy.
Tickets cost £20 and include two food items from any of the stalls and all the money raised from the market is going to the Amos Trust, which works at grassroots levels to help Palestinians in Gaza.
