Naked cycling is fully optional

The first day of Summer is here and what better way to see the capital than on a bike – should the weather permit of course! With cycling booming and the introduction of the Boris bikes London is more cycle friendly than ever, which is why various hotels are now offering bikes for guests to use.

DUKES is the latest hotel to add guest bikes to its services and not any guest bikes these ones are specially branded. Just in case you want everyone to know where you’re staying (look at me, look at me!). Located near Green Park and Hyde Park it’s a good location to get those cycle legs before you hit the roads.

Back in April The InterContinental London Park Lane purchased multiple Barclays Bicycle Hire memberships for guests to use. These are free and the hotel even supplies helmets. Plus there are three docking stations within a two-minute walk of the hotel making it super easy to rent and ditch them.

The Sanderson and St. Martin’s Lane have stuck to their cool roots and purchased Dutch-inspired versions of the beautiful Public J7 – sure to give those trendy locals a run for their money! The bikes are free to hire but if you fancy jazzing up the ride check out The Mad Hatter’s bicycle package, which includes a bicycle, helmet, bicycle lock and full afternoon tea to stick in your basket for £30.

In the words of Queen “I want to ride my bicycle”, well now you can!
