Chef Sally Abé is hosting a spesh IWD event at her restaurant The Pem (itself inspired by suffragette Emily Wilding Davison), with four panel sessions covering different areas of hospitality, from life in the kitchen to building a brand to creating a work-life balance. The speakers include Adejoké Bakare, Lisa Markwell, Anna Sebastian, Roberta Hall-McCarron, Poppy O’Toole, Ravneet Gill and LOTI’s own Jules Pearson, with a range of female-led hospo businesses also showcasing themselves after the panels. The £55 ticket price also includes a three-course lunch paired with Lillet drinks, with more cocktails and champagne to finish the day off.
