is a brand new one day, multi-venue music festival coming to East London. Working in conjunction with the Independent Label Market, the East End Film Festival has created East End Live, a musical extravaganza featuring breakthrough along with more established bands and DJs from East London and beyond.

Taking place on Saturday 13th July across 5 East End venues from 5pm to 5am you can catch bands like psychedelic indie rockers Toy, post-punk heroes The Monochrome Set, Leeds metal band Wet Nuns, hardcore group Perspex Flesh, French cold wave innovators Charles De Goal, intelligent indie from Australia’s Scott & Charlene’s Wedding, dark drone from East Londoner Moon Zero, cosmic heaviness courtesy of Teeth Of The Sea and riot girl grunge from Skinny Girl Diet. Breathe!

There will be a series of pre-parties for East End Live, including a celebration of the release of Douglas Hart’s (ex-Jesus and Mary Chain) debut solo record, taking place at the Griffin towards the end of May, and a special performance from former This Heat / Camberwell Now drummer Charles Hayward at The Old Blue Last on Monday 24th June.
