After undergoing a serious makeover for well over a year, Highgate gastropub The Bull and Last has finally re-opened to show off its new look to the world. Not only did the pub get a complete refurb, but six new rooms have been added (although these won’t be fully ready until April).
The food menu has had a big refresh too, with dishes like winter tomatoes with brown mushroom tempura with sesame sauce; London burrata, wild fennel & toasted buckwheat; slow cooked rabbit & ham hock pie with mash; hake with wild seashore veg, pickled parloude clams and butter sauce; and hot chocolate & peanut butter fondant with rum roast banana.
Their famous Sunday roasts are also back in action and now they’re running into the evening, meaning you can really settle in for a Sunday sesh.
