CRATE OPENS IN WALTHAMSTOW

CRATE, the company that offers commercial premises and workspaces to businesses a little bit like Boxpark, has opened on the site of a disused car park on St James Street in Walthamstow. Pillars Brewery and vegan street food traders The Green Grill are already up and running, with further foodies Shee Bakes, Hanoi Cà Phê, Baggio Burger, Long and Short Coffee and The Italian Bakery also setting up shop in the development.

They’ll be joined by barbershop and coffeehouse Cove17, No-LOGO Hair, bespoke clothing from Seiko Fujino and gadgets from Honeey. CRATE offers workspaces as well as retail units, so St James Street will also be home to creative and web design business Untethered Collective, Lara Sharp interior design consultancy and African arts company Mbilla Arts. Looks like Walthamstow is the place to be.
