Migrateful, the supper club/cookery class led by refugees, has launched another series of events for November. Taking place across the capital, at places like Mercato Metropolitano and WeWork, Migrateful events see a refugee who has trained as a chef teach their cuisine to guests in a cookery class before the whole group sits down to eat together.
Not only do the chefs get the chance to practice their English, share the food of their homeland and share their experiences and stories, they are also able to access employment and earn money. The chefs Migrateful is currently working with include migrants from Egypt, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Nigeria, Albania, Bengal and Eritrea, so if you love the food from one of these places or you want to learn to cook a brand new cuisine, get involved.
