Matt Whiley’s award-winning cocktail bar Scout is moving neighbourhoods, upping sticks from Shoreditch and re-opening on Graham Road in Hackney. The new site will be bigger, allowing for a virtual replica of the OG Scout to take over the ground floor, with the same focus on sustainability and seasonal British produce, but there’ll also be room for a kitchen, meaning the team can expand their bar menu. The basement space will house a second venue, Gold Tooth, which will showcase Matt’s kegged cocktail company with four cocktails on tap as well as beer and wine. It’ll be arty down there too with The Rugman’s work on display and regular gallery evenings, so you can get a culture fix alongside your cocktails.
