Dominic Wallace, Deezer’s UK and Ireland Music Editor, has given us his recommendations for the best gig’s to be checking out in October.
It’s safe to say gig season is now in full flow and picking out ten gigs from what is on offer in the capital this month was a difficult task. Gavin James is an artist who has had a huge year and I was surprised to see that tickets are still on sale for his show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 7th. Move quick though, they won’t be available for much longer! The Academic are another Irish act I’m hoping to see this month and their set at The Waiting Room on the 10th is one I’ll be hoping not to miss. Finally, my favourite act of 2016, Honne, are performing at the Roundhouse on Friday 28th. I’ve had this gig pencilled in for a while now and can’t wait to see them perform at the iconic North London venue. Liv Dawson is also supporting, a singer with a big future ahead of her.
