64 Goodge Street is offering a £49 3 Course Lobster & Champagne Menu
Fast forward to now and, while most things have changed (don’t get us started), 64 Goodge Street is leaning into a bit of nostalgia by bringing the vol-au-vent back for a limited summer run.
Eat This
The £49 early evening menu gets you three courses, with a starter of Jambon Persillé, sauce gribiche and a small salad, the Lobster Vol-au-Vent as the main alongside a glass of champagne and Crème brûlée & myrtille berries as dessert. We threw in a side of pommes Anna (because, obviously), and the crisp, buttery layers added a perfect bit of texture to the whole spread.

Drink This
There’s a serious wine list here, but we stuck with the Philipponnat Réserve Perpétuelle Champagne. Fruity, structured, and generous enough to stand up to the lobster, it ties the whole meal together.
