5cc has opened up in the City, located beneath underneath Harrild & Sons, an old print house turned public house. Like the other 5cc basement cocktail bars, it’s a little bit sexy with neon signs, booths, and a big bar.
The bar serves classic cocktails with a twist as well as offering an impressive collection of rare and sought-after whiskies. We’d recommend the Japanese Plum Sour and aged Negroni served in a quirky bottle.
With cocktails this strong, you’re gonna need some grub to soak up all that booze. Well lucky for you there’s freshly shucked oysters, lobster rolls, veal schnitzel and pulled pork sliders and we can confirm they are all pretty bloody good. Get down there with a date or your mates, you won’t wanna leave.
