Former Hakkasan Head Chef Jeff Tan is opening a new cocktail bar and counter Viet Lounge, above Viet Food in Soho and to celebrate, he’s knocking 50% OFF food and cocktails during the soft launch. As well as a range of Vietnamese small plates like Hanoi braised beef with black pepper crumble, sweet corn crab balls and lemongrass and fish sauce glazed chicken wings, you’ll be able to sip on cocktails created by mixologist Alex Looi (formerly of The Dorchester Hotel and Park Chinois). We are liking the sound of the Black Magic (vodka, coffee liqueur, pistachio syrup and coconut milk a lot. You can’t book for the soft launch but rezzies will be in action once the place is officially open on 7th June.
