plates and full drinks, Talli Joe is the latest addition to Shaftesbury Avenue. Taking inspiration from Indian dive bars, Talli Joe is all about sharing, bringing the booze and food in equal measures. With food from Sameer Taneja, formerly at Michelin-starred Bernares, expect the menu to include the likes of Rasam poached shrimp; Sorpotel & Sanna, a Konkan delicacy of pork stewed in chilli, coconut and vinegar; and Patisapta, thin crepes filled with coconut and jaggery. And on the drinks side of things expect a long list of Indian-inspired cocktails that are bound to leave you feeling a little Talli….that’s tipsy, Hindi style. Of course what would an opening be without a soft launch, so to celebrate they will be giving 50% OFF all food to everyone who has signed up to their mailing list.
