Holy crepe. A taste of Brittany is coming to Spitalfields in the form of a classic Breton crêperie. L’Ami Malo will offer gluten-free buckwheat savoury galettes served with the likes of confit duck leg, Morteau sausage with leek fondue and potato and French mustard. But it’s the smoked ham, duck egg, maple cured bacon and Comté cheese that has got us excited – it’s a take on the classic cheese and ham crepe PIMPED right up. Then there’s the sweet section with classics like lemon and sugar and apple compote with salted caramel and once you’re done there’s a speakeasy bar below serving French-inspired cocktails. Sounds anything but crepe and to be honest we could do with a few decent crepe places in the city! To celebrate their launch L’Ami Malo is offering 50% off food between 16th – 27th January, but booking is essential, just hit up their site to make a reservation.
