Calling all you independent ladies! Freedom Bar, the drink spot inside East London’s Canopy London City hotel, is hosting a special cocktail evening to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day. On the night, there’ll be an all-female bar team taking care of drinks and with Freedom’s very own mixologist Eleonora Esposito shaking and stirring alongside Serena Carrino from Nightjar and Sara Cassano from new spot The Aubrey London, you can bet you’ll be in safe hands.
Expect limited edition cocktails to sip on all night long, including special serves which have been named after influential women like Marie Louise Berneri, Artemisia Lomi and Miss Lou, and which all feature new spirit on the scene, Cadello. When it comes to canapés, there’ll be parmesan baskets stuffed with beef carpaccio and truffle mayo; salmon roulade with yuzu and sour cream; and beetroot cakes with a goat’s cheese mousse, apple gel and candied nuts.
