Chef patron Paul Merrett’s menu showcases modern British cooking mixed with Asian and European flavours, so you can expect dishes like seared scallops with glazed pork belly, apple & celeriac and roasted Barbary duck breast with mashed potato, braised red cabbage, bok choy and wild mushrooms, as well as proper comforting puds. The Fox and Grapes also happen to be right on the edge of the Common, so you can really indulge in the pub and then walk it all off. Ideal.
