Eneko Atxa is opening a Basque restaurant at One Aldwych. Renowned for his three Michelin-starred Azurmendi in Bilbao and voted no.16 in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Eneko will put a spin on traditional Basque cooking at his new place. You can expect the menu to include the Txerri Boda Pork Festival – a trio of Iberico ham and mushroom duxelle in milk bread, suckling pig brioche and pigs trotter bocata – as well as Basque-style hake tempura, beetroot tartare & bomba rice risotto with Idiazabal pesto and even be rice pudding lollipops for dessert.
What’s more they will be hosting a month long soft launch with 50% OFF all food throughout August, so if you want in book a table for lunch or dinner here. And if you’re more of a spur-of-the-moment kinda guy you’re in luck cos walk-ins are welcome too.
