Disco Bistro EC4 is the new dining residency from ‘punk’ chef, Carl Clarke. Carl’s previous projects include NYC style ‘Rock Lobsta’ bar, Thomas Keller spoof ‘ The English Launderette’ and Jubilee punk celebration ‘ God Save the Clam’.His new joint is located on the 1st floor of The Rising Sun pub in St Pauls and will serve a daily changing menu of rare-breed meats, day-boat fish and wild ingredients. The actual pub will serve ‘trash food’ inspired by street food and includes lobster corn rolls, French dipped burgers (picture above by Paul Winch-Furness) and fried chicken in pig-skin. We’re in!
