Epic Pies, which has been slinging its pastry creations at festivals and markets across town since 2015, is going permanent with a shop in St Paul’s. The ‘British Patisserie’ will serve up a rotating selection of five savoury pies, including the Ham-Hockey Puck (ham hock, leeks and cider in shortcrust pastry), the EastEnder (peppered steak in suet pastry) and the Marinara tart (seafood and garlic aioli on puff pastry), with mash, greens, gravy and parsely liquor on the side. And if you go in on Saturday, you can get Full English tarts and brunch wellingtons – breakfast items with added pastry is something we can fully get behind.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ve got the likes of cronuts, croffles, cup-tarts (that’s cupcake-tart hybrids), lemon meringue and banoffee sweetie pies, and a cheesecake-shortbread-tart concoction to choose from.

To celebrate the new shop, Epic Pies is knocking 50% OFF food during the soft launch period 28th October – 2nd November, so swing on by if you wanna eat all the pies.
