3 Henrietta Street is a five-floor, multi storey food and drink mecca that will open in Covent Garden this September. In the basement you’ll find El Ta’Koy, the first UK branch of the Hawaiian-inspired restaurant run by Cuban chef Luis Pous (he’s got a restaurant in Miami and a pop-up in New York). Picture small bites, tacos, and poke bowls with themed tiki-inspired cocktails.
Upstairs on the ground floor, world-class chef Kimberly Lin will be flying the flag for pastry at Lilly’s. Situated in a terracotta-hued conservatory, expect mind blowing pastry and all the usual cafe favourites. The Gentlemen Baristas will be on the same level serving up their signature ‘well-mannered coffee’, brekkie and lunch dishes. The first floor is home to Pivot, a modern British restaurant that adapts with the seasons, where each month chef Mark Greenway wipes the menu clean and starts fresh, showcasing the best ingredients across four- and six-course menus.
The building itself, a townhouse that was built in 1870, has had bakers, lace-makers and drapers, surgeons, stockbrokers and nobility all pass through its doors. Now it’s the turn of chefs, bakers, baristas and bartenders.
