have been rumours, but we can confirm – Spring is-a-coming! And what better way to celebrate the onset of early evenings, than with Portuguese food and fine wines? Luckily for us, Taste Portugal is hosting another of its one off events, as Algarve-based chef Matteo Ferrantino takes over the reins at 28°-50°Maddox Street this Saturday.

The evening’s three-course extravaganza will be paired with a series of wines handpicked by Portugal’s Sommelier of the Year Antonio Lopes, and 28°-50°’s own Head Sommelier, Caroline Brangé.

The menu will include a series of traditional Portuguese dishes, with a contemporary twist: think Beetroot – Foie-gras Praline and Caldeirada of Black Cod. Tickets are selling fast, so be sure to snap yours up…if it’s anything like the one we went to at Murano you can expect an evening filled with AMAZING grub and vino. We’ll drink to that…

Prices for three course menu with wine pairing, £69pp.
