Jidori, one of our fave local restaurants is going global…well to Covent Garden but you know what we mean. Opening at the end of February the new Jidori will be bigger, with space for around 50 diners, but will retain the same pastel vibes as the Dalston original. There’ll also be an extended yakitori and small plates menu, featuring tuna belly, shiso & daikon hand roll, green tea noodles, and smoked tofu tsukune, as well as a larger drinks list of sake, craft beers and cocktails. But the big news is that the new spot will have a private karaoke room in the basement. Kastu curry scotch eggs and karaoke…it doesn’t get much better than that.
