pizza box portraits go on display at kebab shop

Pizza boxes, portraits and a kebab shop – could this be the best (weirdest) exhibition ever? Artist Oliver Malin has got so frustrated with the lack of affordable gallery space in London that he’s decided to host his first solo show in Marathon kebab shop in Camden (Yep that’s the Marathon kebab shop that used to host all night parties and gigs – long after the pubs had shut! Those were the days…) and he’s using pizza boxes for his canvases. Takeaway Dreams brings together a range of characters in recurrent, everyday situations, experiencing & displaying a range of emotions, which all come back to forms of dreaming. And to top it off, you can order a kebab 5ft away from the exhibition. Count us in.
