If like us you’re slightly obsessed with Japanese food, you’ll be pretty excited to hear that Europe’s largest Japanese food hall is now open in Westfield (the one in Shepherd’s Bush). The Japan Centre Group and Cool Japan Fund has taken over a 17,400 sq ft space to open Ichiba, with a HUGE food court with stations serving everything from katsu curries and sushi to noodles and tempura, alongside a number of street food dishes including takoyaki. There’s also be a Japanese cafe and bakery serving dorayaki pancakes, teas and matcha lattes, and that all important sake tasting station. And if you’re not a fan of sitting in, you can pick up everything from fresh miso and soy sauce to tableware and beauty products to take home too.
