Having found ourselves in Finchley a few times over the last few weeks we’ve been scouting for places to eat and if you’re in need of some real tasty chicken in a fun atmosphere, then we have the perfect spot for you. The Chicken Society is known for being the experts on all things chicken, with an aim to provide it ‘any way you like it’. Their menu includes boneless buttermilk, spit-roasted and southern fried chicken, all served with their tasty homemade sauces.
We went for the BBQ chicken burger – boneless buttermilk fried chicken, pulled chicken and smoked cheddar smothered in their BBQ sauce – which was a winner. Their sides menu is also pretty impressive, including parmesan, sage and truffle oil fries and broccoli with miso and sesame. Dessert wise, we had the gooey, warm chocolate brownie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We’d recommend you wash it all down with their new cocktail the Apple Dog; a combo of freshly pressed apple juice and whisky.
The Chicken Society does exactly what it says on the tin, provides frickin’ good chicken.
