Sequin rainbows, anti-Trump Twitter references, that IMMIGRANT sweater, yellow glitter catwalks and lucha libre masks are hard acts to follow at your typical LFW show, but we’re sure Ashish is gonna top it this season. To build excitement around his new collection, the British-based designer has hooked up with London Fashion Week’s long time (17 years to be precise) coffee partner Lavazza to create a bespoke LFW SS18 coffee cup – the finale on what has been a year-long creative partnership between the two icons. And yes, it’s sequins galore!
As well as designing the cup, Ashish has designed a Limited Edition Lavazza tote bag which will be given out during his show on Monday 18 September – and we’re expecting even more dazzling blue sequins! With Lavazza and Ashish both renowned for their authenticity, boldness and distinctive heritages, we couldn’t think of a better pairing.
