Good news people of Hackney…Boris might not have thought we needed a bike sharing scheme, even though there’s no underground in Hackney, but ofo, the world’s first and largest station-free bike sharing platform is coming to the hood. And this is wayyyyy easier to use than Boris Bikes too – all you have to do is download the app to unlock the nearest bike to you and when you’re done you can drop the bike off ANYWHERE that bike parking is allowing (yes, no trying to find a free space in a docking station!). At just 50p for 30 minutes it’s a proper bargain too and you don’t even have to pay a deposit. Count us in.
