Things are getting cheesy in the name of charity over at The Cheese Bar this September. Founder Mathew Carver is helping to raise money for Help Refugees UK by challenging five other chefs to fight it out to become the gilled cheese champion. Taking on The Cheese Bar will be Josh Katz and Mattia Bianchi from Berber & Q, Harneet Baweja from Gunpowder, Decatur’s Tom Browne, founders of Pizza Pilgrims James & Thom and Tomasz Baranski from El Pastor. The chefs can serve up the grilled cheese any way they like, as long as the cheese inside it is British, as per The Cheese Bar’s policy of celebrating the best British produce. Let battle commence!
