Ahead of his fourth album Dark Days & Canapés dropping next month, Ghostpoet aka Obaro Ejimiwe has shared the vid for new single ‘Freakshow’. Directed by Zhang + Knight, the vid is the second in a dystopian series and it’s a pretty weird watch. Ghostpoet explained, “Freakshow is a kind of commentary on modern consumerism – it sums up my general sense of unease in the way we buy our emotions these days, and the unstoppable cash-driven churn we seem to be caught up in as a society.” If you’re liking the sound of that, the man himself is going on an extensive UK tour this autumn, including a London date at Printworks, so you’ll have plenty of chances to see him live.
