It was only a matter of time before New York-inspired comfort food joint Dirty Bones hit Soho. With this being their fourth site, sitting proud on Denman Street, the team have developed new signature dishes just for Soho diners. Inspired by the Studio 54 era, you can expect the interiors to be impressive, nailing that post-industrial chic look. You’ve got hip-hop, funk and soul booming out from the speakers, a bar that gets you thinking of how you could copy it for your own house and not to mention the secret bookcase leading to the loos.

The menu is a tricky one, only down to settling on what to order. Starters of cheeseburger dumplings quickly got the conversations flowing with ‘ah man, you’ve got to try these…go on…get it in there…amazing right?’. A must order, FACT. Mains and sides were more than generous portions, so bare that in mind as you might not need to order one of each per person. Slow n’ Low Pork Belly Ribs marinated in Dr. Pepper with burnt onion and ale BBQ sauce was possibly our fave, with the sticky meat absorbing a huge amount of flavour. The Grilled Short Rib Tacos served build-your-own style with a whole beef short rib too was extremely decent and a leisurely way to make your way through the dish. Also worth a shout, and one for veg lovers is the Roasted Chilli-Mint Squash, a soft, warm and fluffy dish that can work well as a main if in the mood for a lighter option.

Dirty Bones Soho is a great place to get in on some epic meat; that being said we’d pop in for drinks too as they can knock up a cocktail or two – give the Dirty Bastard a whirl. That’s how we roll.

Need more food inspo, don’t sweat it, we got you covered with all that right here.
