Gunpowder, one of our fave restaurants in London, is getting a sister site in Spitalfields. Madame D’s will sit above Blessings Bar and serve up Himalayan cuisine – that’s a mix of Indian, Chinese, Nepalese and Tibetan influences. YUM. And true to form, they won’t be taking reservations so you may have to queue to get a spot at one of their communal dining tables. They’ll be roping in the downstairs bar to help with drinks too, so expect craft beer and a couple of spesh margaritas made with spices from the kitchen.
