loti eats | emilia’s crafted pasta

Fresh, reasonably priced decent pasta has never been that easy to find but now there’s new pasta places opening fasta than we can keep up! Padella set the bar and now Emilia’s is doing the same in a different part of town.  The small 35 cover site overlooking St Katherine’s Doc serves up old school traditional family recipes, that have been passed down the generations with the aim to be “the best pasta outside of Italy” PUNCHY.

Challenging themselves to create the finest pasta possible Head Chef Simone and Founder Andrew have spent the last eighteen months studying the science and geometry of pasta. This effort and passion is why ECP’s 4 hour slow cooked bolognese pappardelle is quite possibly the best we’ve tasted. That and the fact it’s ladened with homemade béchamel. A small twist on a classic that just makes this crowd-pleaser even more appealing.

Then there’s the Parmesan Balls, that’s fried Parmesan shaped into small balls that simply melt in your mouth (just add Prosecco!).  Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is nothing short of super cute, perfect for a date night and yet another strong pasta place to add to the list. Delizioso…or so they say in Italy.
