Cinemas can be funny things: once a huge part of the local community, most have now morphed into soulless chains that seem to charge extortionate prices for tickets… and don’t even get us started on the price of popcorn! Well, in an effort to change all of that, Everyman will be unveiling their latest project, the regeneration of the Muswell Hill cinema, a Grade II-listed building, built in the 1936 and is one of the best examples of Art Deco architecture in London today. Given a complete overhaul, the three screens (two 60-seater small screens and one whopping 410 seater) have been completely reworked and returned to their original, glamourous former glory. As well as the screens, the cinema will now also boast two bars. a restaurant and outside space.
