LOTI EATS: CHICK ‘N’ SOURS <br> SEVEN DIALS

chicknsours-loti

We’re big fans of Chick ‘n’ Sours, having hit up the Haggerston joint quite a few times for THAT Korean fried bun, so when the second Seven Dials site opened, naturally we flew on down to check it out. And with all the same birds and more on the menu, it’s defo a worthy addition to the family.

On the chick front, the tenders have been given an Asian twist with punchy Xian Xian spice, coriander and sesame, and there’s also big new bun in town…The Colonel includes a fried thigh, buttermilk & herb mayo, cheese, lettuce and pickles. Come hungry if you want to take this one on because it is BIG. Whilst the chicken is spot on, the new Mexi-nese nachos are a total winner; a genius combo of Chengdu chicken ragu, kimchi, cheese and green chilli that’s intensely savoury and seriously moreish.

Throw in a couple of the sours…the house Chick’n’Club #2, a tangy mix of gin, blackberry, apple and vinegar, and the bright green vodka, cucumber and elderflower D’N’T Sour go down a treat…and you’ve got yourself a feast worth flying in for.
