ONES TO WATCH: SKOTT

Skott seems to have appeared out of nowhere, but this is no bad thing. Growing up in a forest commune run by outcast folk musicians, her childhood was far from typical; she didn’t even listen to pop music until her mid-teens when she first visited a city. However this allowed Skott to develop her own style, free-from the pop industry norms.

Creating fragile, yet beautiful songs, Skott weaves a strong sense of womanhood into her tracks, masking the innocent sound with dark and intense undertones. Her debut single ‘Porcelain’ is filled with the unexpected; challenging the listeners expectations, but with a memorable chorus and elements of typical Scandi-pop, it’s a track you definitely won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Proving she’s got what it takes to craft her own sound, we expect Skott will be crafting her own place in the music industry too..
