Whilst vintage might be the name of this trend, it’s more about creating a rustic country garden kind of look and less about using actual old and secondhand pieces of furniture. Sleek modern lines and bold block colours have no place here…stick to super soft textures and a palette of cream, dove grey and bone, with floral accents if you really want to have a pattern. Whilst wood or rattan furniture would work here, metal bistro sets, with their curved designs and vintage washes, are just so much more elegant. This is definitely one of the more feminine outdoor living trends but you can temper this by using less prints and including more neutrals.
