roka han setto brunch

Fine dining Japanese restaurant Roka has been serving up sushi in London since 2004 and now has four locations in the city. Most people that have heard of Roka know that the food and service is consistently great but can be pretty spenny. However what many don’t know is that come the weekend, the Aldwych site offers a special weekend brunch menu that features a full taste of Roka for a great price.

The Han Setto brunch menu allows diners to try a huge selection of dishes without breaking the bank. Designed for sharing, the menu kicks off with a selection of pickles, edamame beans, and a bellini. The brunch continues with eight sharing dishes, brought out in no particular order, including a selection of sashimi, prawn tempura, beef gyoza, and salmon and avocado maki. AND if you think that’s brunch done, then think again as you also get the choice of a main course – we opted for the glazed baby back ribs and sea bream fillet – followed by the HUGE dessert platter which is Instagram heaven. A boat containing everything from a chocolate Buddha to panna cotta, fruit, truffles and a whole lot more.

The brunch comes in two options; £39 which includes all the food and a bellini or £55 which includes all the food and a bellini plus unlimited wine. Looks like we’ll be turning Japanese more often in the future…
