surf-noir quartet La Luz have been making waves recently. Produced by Ty Segall, the dreamy new track ‘Don’t Wanna Be Anywhere’ epitomizes sultry summer sunshine. For a group of people recovering a traumatic accident of late – the band were involved in a high speed highway collision – they’re certainly on top of their game. The track is brimming with throbbing bass, haunted organs, slinky surf guitar, and angelic four-part harmonies. It showcases La Luz at their very best.

With new album ‘Weirdo Shrine’ released via Hardly Art in August, La Luz are gearing up for their October tour stopping off in our motherland to perform at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen along the way.

New album Weirdo Shrine released August 7th 2015 via Hardly Art.
