good. Got your attention. In celebration of British Pie Week 2015 the Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush will be playing host to the Great British Pork Pie Off. Fanfare PLEASE. On Monday 2nd March- the day kicking off this week long celebration- several leading chefs including Social Eating House’s Paul Hood, The Dairy’s Robin Gill and Newman Street Tavern’s Peter Weeden, will enter their twist on a traditional pork pie and compete to have a limited number sold in the majestic Selfridges Food Hall on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March to see out British Pie Week.

A panel of expert judges including chefs Rowley Leigh and Henry Harris will be judging each entry on taste and texture, before crowning the almighty Lord of the Pork Pies. Tickets to the event are £10 with all sales being donated to Action Against Hunger. Enjoy a complimentary Portobello Brewing Co. Star beer on arrival to help you wash down your samples of the competing pork pies and be sure to flex your god given pork pie power by personally voting for a second People’s Pie Award winner. These pork pies need YOU.
