Within the Hotel Indigo at Kensington Earl’s Court you can find the new café, bar, restaurant and deli The Kensington Quarter, who opened its doors in November 2014. Their concept is modern food and top notch wines served within relaxed surrounds.
The places looks the biz, its bright, clean and inviting with a slick interior. The menu is divided into three parts depending on if you want to share or not, with a whole section titled ‘sharing is caring’. We opted for the Crab salad which is presented on an artists palate very much like a piece of art. It seems a shame to spoil the impressive presentation but you’ll get over it once you taste the cornish crab meat, mango mayonnaise, caramelised mango & wasabi yoghurt.
For mains we went straight in for the meaty melt-in-mouth Dover Sole which is HUGE, served on a long board with crab mayonnaise and fries. Dessert to share gives you a little bit of everything so if you are feeling slightly greedy you get to try the lot and the chocolate delice should not be missed.
