Head back to the 80s with The Breakfast Club’s birthday celebrations! Whether you’ve been feeling a little nostalgic lately, or are simply looking for a damn good party to head to this weekend, The Breakfast Club’s 9th birthday is definitely the place to be. Celebrating 9 years of serving us lot some of the best brekkies around, all branches of the cafe are getting involved, with the party starting at midday this Friday.
With loads of 80s style games, from a Lego building competition and space hopper relay to an old school aerobics class (we’re talking sweatbands, leg warmers and plenty of lycra), along with a specially created menu to really take you back in time – word on the street is the chicken kiev and Black Forest pancakes are making their return, a percentage of the day’s profits will also be going to local causes around each branch – so you’re even doing your bit for charity!
If that’s not enough, they’ve also got an 80s priced happy (two) hour going later in the evening, before the party really gets started at the Spitalfields cafe or King of Ladies Man in Battersea, where the cheesiest tunes and cheap drinks will continue all night.
