Denim gurus Levi’s are continuing their birthday celebrations with the launch of a limited edition book, Levi’s 501 Interpretations. With 140 years behind them, the coffee table must have, features excellent pictures by fans of the icon jeans.
Naturally the book features 501 images of everyday average Joe’s rocking their prized 501s. It captures the brands carefree rebellious lifestyle and is a must for any denim lover.
Levi’s launched the tomb with a super party packed with denim nerds. Held at the Rook & Raven Gallery in Soho, an exclusive photography exhibition showed the campaign images which launched at the beginning of their birthday year. Thousands of Levi’s fans flooded the website with their pics showing the 501s personality and diversity. It was from these images that Levi’s selected the final 501 to make it into the book.
Levi’s is having a pretty huge year and it marks a landmark in denim history. The original innovators are still going full throttle and have a cult like following. Those are the ones likely to pick up the limited edition book. But guess what? There are only 501 available worldwide.
