latest salon to get the once over from our salon spy is the Headmasters’ flagship salon in Mayfair. Located just off Hanover Square it’s noticeably different to other Mayfair salons in that the atmosphere is pretty chilled and the staff are welcoming.

We were booked in with Siobhan for a cut and colour, after a brief consultation on our colour and style the dye was applied and left for 20 minutes before we were whisked to the sinks for a wash and head massage (heaven!) on some pretty fancy chairs. Back at the cutting chair we were given an all over trim and reshape of the old bangs before been blow dried to a sleek, glossy new do.

It was fast, it was efficient and we left happy with our locks. As far as Mayfair salons go it’s not badly priced either with shampoo, cutting and styling from £41.
