Is the Jumeirah Carlton Tower one of the world’s best hotels? Condé Nast Traveller seem to think so, the magazine recently included the hotel in their annual Gold List – one of only three UK hotels to be recognised for outstanding service.
Room rates at the 5-star, 216 room hotel usually start at about £220 per night, but this January to celebrate the hotel’s 50th birthday the hotel will be running a “Flash Sale”. On Wed 12th January at 12pm, 50 rooms will be available for £50 per night, on sale for just 50 minutes (somehow we don’t think they’ll last that long!).
And for those who want to flash their cash the Royal Suite will also be available to book for the measly price of £2011 (a saving of £5000 off the published prices.) What an absolute bargain!
The suite has Swarovski crystal lighting, a spacious lounge, a dining table seating 10, kitchen, free standing bar, balcony and Bang & Olufsen audio visual technology. The bathroom comes with Swarovski crystal twin basins, under floor heating, chromotherapy Jacuzzi with inset TV, free standing bath and walk-in rain shower.
Guests also benefit from private butler, ipad, WiFi, DVD player, Wii, Playstation, Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne, spa massage, full sized Ren products, evening canapés and airport transfers. Surely there is another credit card we can max out somewhere??
